The Last Crucifixion
It’s naked reality-
Man suffers from the fatal ailment
Of genesis-the safety valve of creation
Serving as guardian
Against theologies of pagans,
Uprisings of gentiles, heresies
Of Samaritans;
For the dust is a
Constant threat to the gates of heaven
Its peacefulness,
And God’s own design of eternal reign;
Without doubt, the soil is heaven’s
Worst fear, the transient dweller
Having the power to destroy
All infinity;
The cross an outstanding
Testimony of the earth’s borderless madness
No court of divinity would dare
Accept an evidence against itself
For it could stimulate the outright
Resurrection of Calvary; the impromptu concert of thieves
The inverted language of the rock
Repeatedly declaring unsolicited of allegiance to
A convicted God for the crime
Of immaculateness;
Again the stage is set
For Christ’s last crucifixion
At his father’s throne…
The ultimate victory of the
Clay over its mother…
And the humanity receives the second
Gift of salvation.
